Brief History

The roots of the team started about 3 years ago with about 16-17 lads aged between 4 and 6. Last season the Mini’s entered the non competitive under 8 ‘League’ with a mixture of genuine under 8’s and some under 7’s there no make the numbers up and give the younger lads some game experience. With the older lads moving up at the end of that season the squad was replenished with 6 or 7 new lads to give the foundations of the mini’s first all under 8 side.

Our pre season tournaments were very productive with us playing 17 games and losing none and only conceding 1 goal in all games. Our One pre season friendly was a 3-2 reverse against a very good Brinklow side. 

All in all the lads have progressed well over the years and are all looking forward to a very good season.
